“The Pumpkin Pact”

It started for laughs, a fall photo to keep—
Five friends by the fire while daylight fell deep.
We carved out our pumpkins, wide grins, hollow eyes,
Slipped them on, joking, beneath fading skies.

But dusk and flame danced strange that night—
The air grew heavy, the glow too bright.
Laughter slowed to a hum, to a hush, to a thrum—
And roots crept softly where feet had been numb.

Now each October when the night turns bare,
Our laughter drifts through the smoky air.
They think it’s the wind, but we still stare—
Through hollow eyes,
still waiting there.

Had the chance to join up with a crew of photographers for a shoot thanks to , and the energy was unreal. A skateboard, a city backdrop, and a skater who wasn’t afraid to push limits — perfect mix for capturing movement and style. Crazy how everyone sees the same moment differently, but that’s what makes these sessions so inspiring.

Finding beauty in the unexpected Sometimes the harshest places reveal the most striking art. Wandering the ESP Prison in Philadelphia, I stumbled upon textures, shadows, and stories frozen in time. Even in spaces built for confinement, creativity and wonder persist. Special thanks to a great tour guide for a great recommendation.
