Making props and set pieces by hand is a labor of love, but sometimes it’s the only option when your vision or color palette is super specific!
Ashley Isenhour / The Art Department led the art direction for most of these projects and our team of girls at Colorpop by Marina Williams helped bring them to life with spray paint and a dream 🌈
The best part is that (especially with larger set pieces that can be painted) is that they’re reusable! I’ve reused props in so many different ways by either reimagining them with a new function or just giving them a fresh coat of paint.
I’ve always loved crafting, but I’m not the most handy - if you’re a photographer I definitely recommend giving art direction a try anyways - it only needs to look good for the photo shoot!!
