How it started to how it ended!
Trent planned and booked and prepared for the perfect proposal. It's always funny to me the leading up to these moments. It's typically the man reaching out to me, telling me a little bit of his story, and then his plans that he has come up with for the proposal. 8 times out 10, we have never met in person and are going to a place that's somewhat crowded. In this instance, St. Augustine during Christmas time. IYKYK. So then about an hour before hand, he is alllllll the sudden asking his soon to be fiancé for a selfie, but really it's so that he can send it to me so that I know what they even look like. Not being able to blow up his phone to keep the level of surprise once we have both separately arrived; we are able make eye contact, I give the tug of the ear, the flick of the nose, and it's showtime!! What feels like an eternity later, but typically about 30 seconds, he is pointing at me and there is a brand new woman just gushing as she's running toward me, a complete stranger to her. I get to be the first one to celebrate with her and fawn over her ring and see them both as they go from one moment of dating to another in taking their first steps toward marriage. It never gets old. These monumental moments are not lost me and I am always so honored to be part of it.
