I understand that we’re at the end of January, but you know what, life happens. So, finally, here’s my 2025 year in review. 2026 is going to be pretty great. I get to use my passport again this year!! I can’t wait to see what else happens!

I started my walk today at full pace. I got distracted by a cool spiderweb and realized I needed to slow down and find the beauty/joy in the simple things. My usual 30 minute power walk turned into a 60 minute much needed stroll. I stood up from taking pictures of ants and passed by someone who said “I was trying to figure out what this crazy person was doing and realized, OH! It’s Aubrey!” 😂 Sometimes we all need to slow down a little and enjoy the world around us.

This year’s trunk or treat season took us to three different parties. We took 1st place at the first, most spooktacular trunk at the second, and most popular vote at the last. Morgan wanted to do his own trunk this year, so he did his own Mistborn theme instead of joining our steam punk theme. We love this time of year and already have an idea of what we’re doing next year ☺️
