I just wrapped up my first semester back at Sac State (after a 9 year hiatus) and took one of the coolest classes ever which was a Women & Gender Studies class about Gender & Health. Our self care unit was a highlight of the class and the center of our midterm. I had to choose something to do for 14 consecutive days that I deemed as self care. Being a photographer, I chose to take self portraits of myself. I wanted to make time for creativity/expression despite taking 15 units, working a 9-5, having a social life and still running my photo business. This blog is a tiny recap of some things I learned in the process. 😊
