POV: One senseless act of violence didn’t just hurt one man.

As a daughter of Christ, as a mother, as a wife, as a sister, as a friend, as a stranger, I will continue to fight my battles like this and I will not be ashamed to show my children and model to them how to put your faith in Jesus, how to worship him for everything, good & bad, god does all things for good even when we do not feel that way or see it that way. I am sooo thankful God is moving in our lives and I REFUSE to let the enemy come in to lie, kill or destroy anything we’re fighting for. I will fight for it. I will not stop. I will not allow or believe the lies of the enemy. Mentally this week, I’ve had sooo many emotions: fear, sadness, anger, resentment, confusion, shut down, overwhelm. Although my anxiety is present, my thoughts are racing, body still shaking, heart still pounding, my house is a mess, hairs a mess, Josh is hurt, I will not let any of that over ride or stop me from praising Jesus for all he’s done. As I shared the gofundme today, I realized how thankful I was making a post for recovery relief and not a funeral fund, it gave me empathy for those two aren’t that lucky and I can’t take that for granted. Praise God for bringing us through this, I know we have a journey ahead of us I know it might get bumpy, but I know God will see us through, he will heal, restore, provide and protect us. THANK YOU JESUS!
