As a portrait photographer what I'm always watching for during photo sessions is beauty and joy... and when subjects are having this much fun, I do my best to be an action photographer, too 😝 because that's where the joy is. I think it's safe to say Billie & Theo had a blast during their photo session at the beach earlier this year. And I had the best time capturing it all.

This little guy, Diego, had so much personality and was so much fun to photograph in the studio.

July 11 & 12 - Ice Cream Pet Photo Day at the Sacramento Studio
July 19 - "Summer" motif pet Photo Day at Big Woof Pet Supplies & Spa in Lafayette. This event is a fundraiser for Bay Area Pug Project
TBD - If a Saturday remains open, there will be a pop-up; the Summer (yellow backdrop) at the Sacramento studio.

For Jax's photo session we went to a local park in the Sacramento area. We spent some time taking portraits down by the water (his happy place) and then we did some photos with his mama on the green lawn. We captured so many fun photos... but this is the one that I can not stop looking at... it's the one I would print large to see every day.

It's common that my favorite captures happen near the end of a photo session, when the subject is relaxed and the light is just right.

I'll share more of the fun portraits from his session soon.
