gonna get in trouble for this one but…

your kids aren’t “bad” at photos

you just keep putting them in situations that don’t work for them

standing still
forced smiles
“look at the camera” 47 times

…of course they’re over it

You know what they are good at?

being loud
running wild
interrupting moments
climbing all over you
laughing at the wrong time

aka… being kids

And THAT’S where the magic actually is ✨

But instead, most people try to control it
rush it
perfect it

and then wonder why their photos feel stiff

The best sessions I shoot?
they don’t look perfect

they look real

So if your biggest fear is

PS, Charleston I love you.

And elopements like this? Hell yeah. 💍

no big timeline, no pressure… just two people who actually like each other (lol) walking around, laughing, stopping when it felt right, holding onto the little moments instead of rushing past them.

the kind of day where nothing feels forced. the wind does its thing, the dress moves, they forget I’m even there… and that’s when it gets really good.

this is your reminder you don’t have to perform on your wedding day. you can just exist in it.

Photographer truth.

It’s not just “taking photos.”

It’s hours of watching, waiting, and choosing.

Choosing the moment your kid reached for you instead of the camera.
Choosing the frame where you actually felt something.
Choosing what tells the story… and what doesn’t.

What you get back isn’t random.
It’s intentional.

A curated version of your real life… not a perfectly posed version of it.

And yeah,
it costs what it costs because behind every gallery is
