Me - I document confidence.
You - But I'm NOT confident. So, I shouldn't have a session.
Me - Pull up a chair ma'am. Let me prove how wrong you are.
Confidence is trusting in yourself because you know what to do in a situation. Tell me... why would you feel confident in having a bo***ir session if you've never done one?
You don't know what it's like.
You don't know what you're supposed to do with your hands.
You don't know how to pose.
You don't know if you'll feel awkward or nervous or exposed.
You can't walk into something you've never done and say, "Yep. I 100% got this."
And that's exactly why I say I document confidence.
I don't create it.
I don't build it for you.
I don't sprinkle some magical bo***ir fairy dust on you and suddenly make you the worlds most confident woman. (though if I could... I would)
I document the moment you do something before you feel confident enough to do it.
The moment you're half naked in front of a stranger and still decide to trust yourself instead of canceling.
The moment you feel awkward as f**k and keep going.
The moment you stop asking, "Can I do this?" because you're already stripped down and f**king doing it.
And then I give you the photographs.
Not as proof that you're a sexy goddess (even though you are).
Not as proof that you photographed well.
Not as proof of how good I am at my job.
But as evidence that you can walk into something unfamiliar, uncomfortable, and vulnerable... and handle yourself there.
That is where confidence comes from.
You don't need confidence to book the session.
You need the willingness to do something before you're sure of yourself.
