Michelle and Dwight's wedding day was one of those celebrations that reminded me why I still love photographing weddings. The ceremony was originally planned to take place in The Italian Cultural Garden, but due to the threat of thunderstorms, it was moved to the Slovenian National Home in Cleveland (I sneaked in a few photos of them in the Gardens anyway).

One of my favorite things about this day was how relaxed Michelle and Dwight were. They spent more time enjoying each other and celebrating with the people they love than worrying about being in front of the camera. Those are the moments that always become the photographs couples treasure most.

Thank you, Michele and Dwight, for allowing me to be part of such a wonderful day. Wishing you both a lifetime of laughter, adventure, and many happy anniversaries together!

One of the things I love most about weddings is that no two are ever exactly alike.

Deborah and Gregory chose to get married in their own backyard, surrounded by family, friends, and a couple of very well-dressed dogs. Their pups stole plenty of attention wearing top hats and capes as they proudly took part in the ceremony.

One of my favorite moments was the Celtic handfasting ceremony. As Deborah and Gregory's hands were tied together with ribbon, it served as a simple but meaningful symbol of their commitment to each other.

After the vows were exchanged and the rings were on, guests gathered for a confetti toss as the newlyweds walked back down the aisle. It's always fun to photograph those genuine smiles and reactions as couples celebrate that first moment of married life together.

Deborah and Gregory's wedding was a great reminder that a beautiful wedding doesn't need a fancy venue. Sometimes all you need is the right people, a little personality, and a backyard full of love.

Congratulations, Deborah and Gregory!

Black attire. Moody details. A mansion straight out of a movie.

Krystal and Payton's gothic-inspired wedding at The Medina Mansion proved that wedding days don't have to fit inside a traditional box to be beautiful. Their sense of humor shined throughout the day, making their celebration incredibly fun!

Grace and Jordan’s wedding at the Elegant Assets Event Center was filled with so much joy, emotion, and nonstop laughter from beginning to end. ❤️

Grace couldn’t wait to show the love between her and Jordan — and wow, did it show. From the emotional first look with her dad to the smiles and laughter they shared throughout the ceremony, every moment felt genuine and full of life.

And the perfect ending? Walking back down the aisle as husband and wife through a shower of confetti and cheers from all the people who love them most. ✨

What an incredible day celebrating these two!

Some weddings are loud.

Some are extravagant.

And some — like Kelly and Greg’s September celebration at Hofbräuhaus Cleveland — are simply heartfelt.

With about 75 of their closest family and friends gathered in the courtyard, they exchanged vows surrounded by warm brick, soft early-fall light, and just the right amount of nervous excitement.

Kelly was radiant (and wonderfully shy). Greg looked like he was born to be in front of a camera. And Kelly’s daughter? She stole a few moments of the spotlight spinning in her dress across the courtyard — pure joy.

After family portraits around the historic building, everyone gathered upstairs for an evening filled with laughter, clinking glasses, and a very full dance floor.

It’s weddings like this that remind me — intimate doesn’t mean small in spirit. It means intentional.

If you’re exploring small wedding venues in Cleveland Ohio and want a day that feels relaxed, meaningful, and beautifully documented, the Hofbräuhaus courtyard is worth a look.

And if you want a calm presence guiding you through it all… well, you know where to find me.

Outdoor winter wedding photos are absolutely possible—even on a snowy December day.

Courtney and Aaron planned an intimate winter wedding with just close family, and despite pummeling wind, swirling snow, and biting cold, they stepped outside for a few quiet moments at Buckeye Woods Park. With a little planning, a lot of trust, and a willingness to embrace the season, their snowy wedding portraits became some of the most meaningful images of the day.

Winter weddings don’t require perfect weather—just the right mindset and a photographer (ahem) who knows how to work quickly and creatively in cold conditions! ❄️
