"Bridgeton's Spring Day" What a spring day it was at Bridgeton! The blue skies contrasted with the reds of the bridge and mill, and then the green, green grass just made for a great day! Everything was literally "picture perfect!"

A cloudy and uncertain sky made up this spring day at Mansfield. I love Spring because the sky always seems to change momentarily. What is your favorite thing about Spring?

"6th Green Rainbow"
I made this image at Mathews Golf Course in Clinton about a month ago. There came a downpour, and golfers were speeding off the golf course leaving their golf balls wherever they had fallen. It was a funny scene. However, the scene after the downpour was a beauty- a double rainbow right over the 6th green. The rain was still falling as I clicked the shutter button, a gentle reminder of God's promise. Please feel free to share this post. Thank you!

When Dane and I (Lori) learned late last year that Off The Square Artisans in Rockville was closing permanently, we were very sad.😢

We are both very passionate about art for many reasons:
🎨 Art is a form of expression that values creativity and self-expression.
🎨 Art has the incredible power to move us, to make us feel something, and to tell a story.
🎨 Art has the ability to inspire, create joy, and provoke thought.
🎨 Art helps us connect with ourselves and with each other.

We wondered what would happen to all of these amazing, talented artists and where would we go to see and purchase unique handcrafted items. We asked ourselves what could we do to help and spoke with Holly Hannum Photography who owned Off The Square Artisans. After speaking with her and her offer to help guide us, we decided to ditch the plans we had for the main floor of our second building on the Square and create a wonderful space for these and other artists from all over. And, we are so happy and grateful that we made that decision! 🙏

During Spring Break, we took a trip to Pinehaven Christian Ranch. It is located in St. Ignatius, Montana. While there, we toured the St. Ignatius Mission Church. The murals were painted by the Jesuit mission cook, Brother Carignano, who had no formal training. The 58 murals were painted in 14 months (1904-1905) in between his cooking and his handyman work. It is quite a sight to behold, as each mural depicts a story of the New Testament, the saints, and St. Ignatius of Loyola.
