Last year we got a little heat on The Inkwell ’s page when someone called us out for not crediting the artist who drew this mug. 😅

Funny enough, the artist who drew it is also the one making most of The Inkwell’s posts. (Me 😬)

It honestly didn’t occur to me that people would care who drew it, but they do. (I even got asked to sign a couple mugs and ornaments. 🥺)

In a world where handmade and hand drawn feel like they’re getting lost in the sea of AI, there’s a bit of hope. ❤️

Spent the fourth with no internet and no texting (thanks to overloaded cell phone towers) and honestly that should be a selling point for campgrounds. Forced severance from technology should be experienced by all.

Full disclosure though, I had to drive to a nearby restaurant to send some client emails before totally isolating. Not mad though, because it gave me an excuse to get takeout from said restaurant. (Including cake, because we were celebrating a birthday after all. 🇺🇸)

When I was young I used to roam our cow pastures with knee high grass in flip flops and not a care in the world…to be young again (and not worry about snakes and ticks 😅)

Luckily for me (and my silly adult brain), this pasture is pretty short and very walkable.
