I was tagged by the lovely and after seeing the trend for a couple days I thought I would look into why this is a thing. Turns out it was started in Turkey where my understanding is they were seeing a lot of black and white pictures of dead women. And because they wanted to highlight they could be next. The original hashtags were which I’m told translate to: say no to violence against women & enforce the Istanbul Treaty/ Doctrine So here is my contribution. These are a few women's issues I support. Sorry some of the text got too small there was an artistic vision that didn't get realized because but between having a bowl of Cheerios thrown at me and the mom mom mom mom mom I had to get the image finished 😒 I am not going to tag specific ladies, I love you all stand up for women. Keep going. You're strong and beautiful.❤️

I put up pictures of the protest to show the beauty of our community coming together and supporting Black Lives. But I just saw a video of a man who was identified by the media at yesterdays protest and was harassed by the police at 2am after. So I took down the pictures to protect anyone in them, and I deeply apologize to anyone who might reap the consequences of them being up. I will do better. Iam leaving the text because the sentiment stands.

Here are some pictures I took from the Black Lives Matter protest from Saturday. I did my best to social distance because I am definitely one for not getting together in large groups, but this felt important. I hope the history books write about this time with these world wide protests being the turning point. Let's not let this all fade away. We can't be satisfied until we are all free!
