I would say 50% of the weddings I photograph have a hand tying ceremony. It’s definitely become a favorite moment of mine.

Hand tying or handfasting is the literal origin of the phrase “tying the knot” and originates from ancient Celtic tradition.

I love these moments because of the way couples look at each other as it’s happening. A moment that won’t happen twice. 💖
