I'd like to thank Wabash number 14 (Luke Adams I believe) for giving me a really sick sequence of photos during the first half of Wabash v. Hampden Sydney College.

These are slightly out of focus due to something I'd never encountered before: heat distortion. Temps on the field at halftime were 105 degrees.

I'd never heard of the Putnam County Bucket until last night.

Growing up overseas until I was 19, I didn't grow up with "Friday Night Lights" to realize this is a whole cultural phenomenon in the US. Now I can see why it seems every other country song references Friday night football.

On a personal note: you can now count the number of football games, both high school and college, that I've photographed one two hands. Tonight was my sixth.
