Somebody call Pooh Bear because we had a VERY important birthday to celebrate!

A little bit of Hundred Acre Wood magic, a whole lot of cake, and the sweetest little guy turning ONE! We started with a Winnie the Pooh inspired session with all of his favorite woodland friends, then had some good ol’ fashioned cake smashin’ fun. And yes, there was cake involved. Lots of it.

You won't see this sweet boy face in these photos because his mama chooses to keep his little face off social media, and we love and respect that around here. But trust me when I say this session was every bit as sweet as it looks!

And can we talk about this mama for a second?! She is one of my BIGGEST supporters, and getting to capture these little milestones for her family means more to me than I can put into words. I adore this family something fierce, and getting to be a tiny part of their memories is something I’ll never take for granted.

So here's to ONE whole year of this little honey, sticky fingers, big adventures, and a little rumbly in the tumbly!

Another maternity bundle that has my whole heart.

I’m still jaw dropped over how beautiful their maternity portraits turned out! Then their sweet boy made his arrival and had a short NICU stay, but we were still able to capture his first little moments on the day he got to go home. One of the biggest perks of being the only contracted, badged and credentialed photographer in our area to photograph inside our local hospitals.

And yes… he smiled for me! I’m so glad I caught it.

For their newborn session, Mom brought her dad’s baby outfits, blanket, and a photo of him. We incorporated all of it, including pieces that are over 50 years old, and I just love how meaningful these images turned out.

A beautiful little boy, a growing family, and pieces of his family history all wrapped into one session. These are the photographs I’ll never get tired of creating.

Some clients just become a little more than clients.

I met these two while they were waiting for their rainbow baby, and I knew pretty quickly that this was going to be a story I’d be invested in.

They’ve been together forever. They had spent so much time dreaming about starting their family, and after a long road, and a whole lot of waiting… they finally got their little mister.

And let me tell you… he was worth the wait.
He is absolutely perfect.

He did have a little NICU stay before he was ready to come home, which meant I spent my time doing what any completely normal photographer would do… checking on his parents every single day while they waited for their boy to be discharged. Even popping in the NICU to watch him and talk with his nurse.

Because by that point, I was invested. Like… emotionally invested.
I couldn’t wait to meet him.
And now that I have, I can officially confirm that he is just as perfect as I imagined.

But here’s the thing about my maternity mommas that I don’t think people always realize…
I become attached to your story.
When I photograph your maternity session, I’m not just waiting for the newborn session. I’m wondering how you’re feeling, hoping everything is going well, cheering you on from the sidelines, and waiting right along with you to meet that little person you’ve been dreaming about.

And when there have been hard roads to get there, I feel that even more.

I know a little something about that journey myself. My husband and I had our own long road to our littlest, so I understand how deeply wanted and deeply loved these babies can be before you ever get to hold them.

So yes, I care about beautiful images. Of course I do.
But I also care about Mom. Dad. Baby. The whole family. I care about how you are doing, too.

These maternity bundle families have a funny way of finding a little corner of my heart, and this sweet family is no exception.

You were worth every single minute of the wait.
And your mom and dad? They are pretty darn incredible, too.

Thank you for letting me be a tiny part of such a huge chapter in your story.

This sweet family was an absolute joy to work with during their hospital stay! We loved having the opportunity to photograph their newest little addition and capture such a special moment for their family.

It means so much to hear about the wonderful experience they had during their stay. We’re grateful to be a small part of these precious first moments and to work alongside a hospital team that cares so deeply for the families they serve.

One month ago today, Rachel Tinius welcomed her fifth baby at Med Center Health in the new High Street Tower. She shared this heartfelt reflection on her family’s experience:

"I’ve delivered all five of my babies at Med Center Health, and I can truly say I’ve never had a bad experience. The staff has always been attentive, compassionate, and wonderful to our family—but the birth of our fifth baby was especially memorable.

On August 25—the very first day the new High Street Tower opened—we arrived with me already 6 cm dilated! From the moment we walked in, I was blown away by the beautiful new facility. Natural light was pouring through the windows, and despite arriving well into labor, everything felt calm and welcoming. As always, the care team was incredibly responsive and quickly got us settled into Labor & Delivery.

Our baby was born just a few hours after we arrived, and somehow, even with everything happening quickly, the entire experience felt calm, controlled, and joyful. The icing on the cake was my doctor unexpectedly coming in to deliver our baby while he was on leave with an eight-day-old baby of his own. To me, that moment perfectly represents what makes the clinicians and staff at Med Center Health so special: they genuinely care about their patients.

I had an incredible team of nurses surrounding me every step of the way. They took photos, celebrated alongside us as we discovered that our surprise baby was a BOY, and, most importantly, took such wonderful care of both of us.

The transition to postpartum was seamless, and I cannot overstate how much I enjoyed our time there. The room truly felt like a five-star hotel. I woke up to sunlight streaming through the windows, watched beautiful sunsets in the evenings, and spent those first precious days snuggling our healthy baby boy.

It was honestly a surreal experience—to have such a beautiful facility, an exceptional care team, and a perfect, healthy baby in my arms. After welcoming all five of my babies at Med Center Health, I am incredibly grateful for the care my family has received over the years and especially thankful for our experience at the new High Street Tower. I hope every expectant mom who walks through those doors can feel confident that when her big day comes, she’ll be surrounded by a team that truly cares."

A Story Worth Telling

Every year, our hospital hosts a special NICU Reunion, and every year, we are so honored to be part of it. This year’s theme, “A Story Worth Telling,” feels especially fitting.

Bell Grace Photography will be back running the photo booth, just like we do every year! We love getting to capture these sweet reunions and celebrate the little fighters who have come so far.

If your baby had a NICU stay at Med Center, you’re invited to join us today for this special reunion!

One of our favorite parts of the day is watching the nurses reconnect with the little ones they cared for during their NICU journey. Seeing those nurses love on these now growing babies is something truly special.

Three months with this sweet boy.

I first got to photograph him in the hospital as a newborn, so getting to see him again at three months was extra special.

We started at home in his nursery, capturing all the sweet, quiet moments with his parents. Then we headed down to the park with a blanket, basket, and their family Bible.

By the time we got all set up, baby was completely asleep.

But honestly, I loved it. The snuggles, the little details, and watching these two love on their boy made for some of my favorite images.

It's so special about being invited into a family’s everyday life and getting to freeze a little piece of it for them.

A little piece of history was born today.

We had the absolute pleasure of photographing the FIRST baby born in Med Center Health’s brand new High Street Tower today!

Meet Bell Grace Photography’s very first little subject in the new tower, and what a special one she is!

The new High Street Tower is absolutely beautiful, and we still can’t get over how incredible it is to be here capturing these first moments for brand new families.

Bell Grace Photography is there EVERY DAY to photograph babies the day after they are born, giving families the opportunity to preserve those precious, fleeting first moments forever.

But today felt extra special.

Because someday, this sweet baby girl will be told that she was the very first baby born at Med Center Health’s High Street Tower. And not just her. Her children, grandchildren, and generations after her may hear that story, too.

What an incredible little piece of history to be born into.

We are so honored to be here, and even more honored that we get to document these memories for Med Center Health families every single day.

A little piece of Italy before baby arrives.

I had the absolute honor of photographing this beautiful family before they head home to Italy to welcome their newest little love into the world. And honestly… this session feels like it belongs on the cover of a magazine.

We took their maternity session outdoors instead of in my private studio, and while yes… it was HOT! Every second was completely worth it. The light, the location, the love between them… everything came together so beautifully.

There’s something so special about capturing a family in this fleeting season of life, especially when they’re preparing for such a big new chapter. These images feel timeless, romantic, and full of the kind of love you can actually feel through the photographs.

I’m so grateful they trusted me to preserve this beautiful moment before they make their way home to Italy to meet their sweet baby.

Wishing this gorgeous family safe travels and the most beautiful birth story. Italy is waiting for you, little one.
