Fibi Kubaland is wondering whether she wants to be friends with Raakel, aka my beautiful German Shepherd. From the look on her face, she is still undecided.

Eclipse Kubaland is on the move as always! He is always investigating, loving, and making Raakel (my German Shepherd) be his best friend even though she doesn't want to be. I think he won her over though. 😅🐈‍⬛🐕

We just got home from Atlanta International picking up Fibi (female) and Eclipse (male who is hiding behind the cat rent). iPhone photos for now. Thank you Alina, Kubalnad PL, for entrusting these two beautiful colorpoint Siberians to me! I can't wait to introduce them to my breeding program.

Yesterday I played along and asked AI to put me somewhere I don’t belong. Today I asked it to put me somewhere it thinks I do belong. Apparently AI knows that I breed Siberian cats, and the cats in the photo are my cats! The logo on the back of the computer is my logo too. 🐈‍⬛

Nearly 20 years ago, one Siberian cat changed the course of my life.

Earlier this month, while creating a Breeding Cats page for my website, the project took on a life of its own.

As I started writing about the cats, I found myself looking back at their pedigrees and remembering stories I hadn't thought about in years. Before I knew it, a simple webpage had evolved into the idea for a historical archive documenting nearly two decades of my breeding program.

I've spent countless hours searching through thousands of photographs, revisiting old pedigrees, and recalling the remarkable cats that shaped Cartier Siberians. Every one of them taught me something, challenged me to become a better breeder, and played a part in the breeding program I have today.

The archive is just getting started. Once I realized the complexity of the project, it became clear this wasn't something I could finish in a few days. Only the first few profiles have been completed so far, but many more will be added as I continue preserving the history behind the cats that made this journey possible.

Pictured here is Obravo Alena, the remarkable silver Siberian whose story became the foundation of my breeding program.

If you've ever wondered where my breeding program began or the stories behind the cats that shaped it over the years, I'd love for you to follow along.

Meet Fibi Kubaland *PL. 🩶

Some kittens capture your attention from the very beginning.

Fibi is one of those special girls. While she’s still growing, she represents everything I look for in the next generation—beautiful type, promising structure, and a pedigree carefully chosen to complement the bloodlines I’ve spent nearly two decades preserving.

Whether she ultimately joins my breeding program or simply remains a cherished part of my cattery will be determined as she matures. For now, I’m enjoying every stage of watching her grow.

Sometimes the future begins with a single kitten. ❤️
