I had such a blast time-traveling back to the 1950's with my friends at The Village at Parklands- A Willow Ridge Senior Living Community for a sock hop! 🎶 They danced, they sang, enjoyed good company, and sent me home in an exponentially better mood than I was in when I arrived 😃 Grateful for community partnerships like this one that make things so much fun! 🍨📀🩷

Raise your hand if you have ever wished that you could Google what the weird green s**g carpet in your grandparents' living room looked like 🙋‍♀️

The details of the places we spend our time become parts of our story, but as time passes and those spaces change, it's not always easy to remember exactly what they looked like. This is where photos of ordinary objects and small segments of our regular lives become HUGELY valuable. If we stop to capture those things while we can, we give ourselves visual time capsules to visit whenever we want 🏡

Something I'm learning: the more fun you let yourself have, the more fun life gets 😀

It can be so easy to get stuck in a loop of work and responsibilities and life, but the moments that make life worth living are the ones that exist when we take time to slow down a little. I'm working harder on this these days--anyone with me?
