🚨 WE FOUND A HOME… ACTUALLY TWO. 🚨
After the most chaotic two months of my life, I can finally say it. 603 Bar-B-Q has a future, and it is bigger than we imagined.
Our new main restaurant will be the former Pit Road Lounge on Loudon Road in Concord. And to be honest, it needs a TON of work. We are talking a full demo back to the studs and starting completely from scratch. It is going to take time, sweat, and a lot of long days, but we can already see the vision and we are excited to turn it into something special.
But that is only half the story. Just last week an opportunity came forward that I could not pass up. We secured a second location, a 3,000 square foot fully licensed FDA manufacturing and catering facility with a full commercial kitchen, huge prep areas, and more fridge and freezer space than we could ever ask for. This space will not be open to the public, but it will become the home for 603 BBQ catering, sausage production, and our BBQ sauce manufacturing. The best part is it is located in the same business complex where we first got our start, just a few doors down from our current location.
With these two spaces combined, the possibilities for 603 BBQ just expanded in a big way.
During the transition we are going back to our roots. We are getting the food truck fixed up and operating outside the Pit Road location while construction is underway. The menu will be a little smaller for a while, but we plan to keep our current hours, Thursday through Sunday, 12 to 4.
Our last day at Hall Street will be Sunday, March 29th. There will be a short break starting March 30th, but our plan is to have the food truck back open around April 9th while construction is happening. Our goal is to have the new restaurant finished sometime between mid May and early June.
Over the past few weeks we had deals working on multiple different locations around Concord and even outside of Concord. Because of that, some people may have heard different things from us about where we might end up. If that caused any confusion or if anyone feels like they received information that is now not accurate, I apologize!! It was never our intention to give mixed messages. The reality is that things were changing quickly and it was often just a matter of which way the wind blew that day to determine which deal we would end up taking.
But everything works out the way it is supposed to in the end, and everything happens for a reason.
I won’t lie, there were a few weeks during this process where I truly did not know what we were going to do or how we were going to do it. But with the support of this incredible community, along with my friends, family, and our staff, we pushed through and kept putting out BBQ we are proud of. I would not trade this experience for the world. It taught me a lot, and I am incredibly excited for the next chapter of 603 BBQ.
We cannot wait to start building this next chapter with all of you. The future starts now!! Thank you all so much for your constant support
