When's the last time you were fully present with your partner?

I mean fully: no phones in hand, no TV playing in the background, no other distractions around?

In today's day and age this is SO difficult to do, yet so important. With so many ways to connect, we often lose the ability to disconnect from the world around us, and be fully present and connected with our person.

Then add in the stress of making the plans to do so, and it ends up on the back burner.

This is why we do what we do. Because I strongly believe we are on this earth for human connection, and that it's my purpose to help couples feel that deep connection through experiences and nature.

So if you're craving true connection, being fully present, and don't want to be the one in charge of all the planning and proof it happened.. give us a follow!

What you've been waiting for... The final footage of our mountain top proposal in the Adirondacks!

Here is a part of their final video, the proposal itself, and some BTS of us having fun on the mountain with their photos!

We had an absolute blast with these two human beings. They were fun, quirky like us, and so in love- the perfect combination!

At one point my partner made everyone fresh hot coffee and tea. We took a break where they enjoyed a picnic and we ate our breakfast.

After we finished up photos, we headed back to our campervan Heinrich for a nap, and then we met up a couple hours before sunset for some photos in a waterfall. This gave her the chance to dress up and have more planned photos.

All in all it was such an amazing experience, and we cannot wait for our next one😁

We had some absolutely stunning fall family minis last week! Here are a few of my favorite photos our time.

It's not too late to get some fall family photos in... peak colors are starting now! We have openings this Tuesday (10/13) and Wednesday (10/14), next Thursday (10/22), and on Sunday 10/25!

If you don't see the date you are looking for, I may be able to squeeze you in on another day depending on the location.

We will also be down in Naples 10/28 and have an opening for one more session while down there.

Always save the animal!

So happy I managed to get this little guy out! I wouldn't have been able to be present at the event I was going to if I knew he was still stuck in there❤️

The night before is CRUCIAL for prep, especially if you have a 3am wake-up time😅😅

We send our client everything we learned about the trail (conditions, wind, length of time to hike, etc...) so he is fully prepped and safe.

This includes a detailed video on where to propose, where I'll be hiding, and anything else he needs to know to make it easy and successful.

Now the one I didn't expect to be so precise when we started these mountain-top experiences, was finding out how important my years of Tetris would be in packing a whole charcuterie board in a way that everything doesn't break, become mush, or take up too much space😆

And obviously having all the right gear, snacks for us as well, and a good night sleep is also super important.

Since neither of us are morning people, doing everything the night before ensures we make it up the mountain with us and the gear in one piece🤣

Technically, Kalika is our second photographer.

But if you’ve ever had him at your wedding, you already know that description is… wildly incomplete. 😂

Yes, he’s there capturing the moments I can’t be in two places for.

But he’s also watching everything happening around us.

-He notices when you haven’t eaten.
-When someone’s boutonniere is sideways.
-When something was left back at the hotel.
-When rain is coming and something needs to be moved.
-When something breaks five minutes before you need it.
-And when the dance floor needs one brave soul to drag Grandma, Mom, or the people hovering on the sidelines into the party.

Because our job isn’t only to photograph your wedding.

It’s to help protect the experience of it.

We want you spending your day laughing with your people, eating the food you picked out, actually dancing at your reception, and taking in the fact that all of these people showed up in one place because they love you.

Not figuring out who is going to run back to the hotel for your earrings.

A lot of what we do will never make it into your wedding gallery.

That's because for us, it's not just about photos. It's about the full experience.

If we’re doing our jobs well, you get to stay present while we quietly handle a whole lot of the rest.
