There is nothing better than several adoptable pups from multiple rescues in one place. Our animal rescue community is strong and so many dogs are saved every year. This is a perfect example. Please share and please reach out to each rescue to inquire about these gorgeous babies!

Ellie Mae is finally ready for her furever home. She made her way to Rochester Animal Services in December of 2025. Upon intake, it was found that she was heart worm positive. Ellie Mae was lucky enough to be placed in a wonderful foster home where she could start her road to recovery. Ellie Mae lives with an older child and her bff beagle foster sibling. She has graduated from treatment and is ready for her next chapter! Ellie Mae is pint size for a pittie mix. I personally think she has some french bull dog in her but I am no geneticist! She is incredibly loving and prefers to share her bed with her canine foster sibling. Ellie Mae does need slow introductions but is VERY treat motivated. I had never met her but having the privilege to photograph pups in their foster home, we got to spend plenty of time together. A few minutes of treat tossing and sniffs and we were besties. By the end of our shoot, she was leaning into me for pets (and treats). She has so much potential and an entire life to live as she is only about 2 years old. I have always wondered about the dogs that never get adopted. Is it because, if they aren't scooped up right away, people assume there is something wrong with them? Post after post, year after year, they wait. This is Bruno and he's been waiting for years. He's not alone but he's important and he's a great dog. He's now almost 8. He's missing out on life with a family. Why? I'm not sure. He's certainly not the first dog advertised that needs to be an only dog. He LOVES people. Like, he really loves them. He is eager to please. He is treat motivated and shines when he shows off his sit, stay and place. Yes, he's strong but he's not the first strong dog. He will just need an owner that can meet his strength and understands big dog energy. He's getting older so that energy is and will continue to be short lived. He loves to snuggle with his volunteer friends. Bruno is obsessed with car rides. He enjoys toys and puzzles. He has to to make his days tick by. He is resilient and still has hope. He has not given up. Bruno should not have to wait any longer. Dottie is in need of a foster or furever home through Buddy Love Dog Rescue. This sweet girl has been working so hard to acclimated to the non-shelter life. The grass, the ample amount of treats and her favorite- human affection- is all so exciting for her! She is young; estimated to be about 1-2 years old. Her DNA results will be a major drum roll because, who knows?! Pointer, cattle dog, bully, cow? Could be all of the above!
Dottie is up to date in her vetting and was recently spayed. She lived with other dogs in a prior home but would do fine as the only queen. She seems to like the smaller pups but, as always, slow intros are required. She is SUPER treat motivated which will help with her training. Her zest for life is addicting and you will leave smiling if you get the chance to meet her. She's just so happy to be alive!! Honestly. I can't even with this little face! Ozzy, the 3 year old microbully, was a dream model. He came in hot-to-trot and happy as a clam for his photo shoot. Treats, yes please. Ball, yes please. Pets and snugs, yes please. Dapper bandana, no problem! I swear I was done in about 10 minute because he was just so easy and enjoyable. Ozzy did everything I asked and then some. He has great positive energy and is guaranteed to make you smile with his captivating personality. Ozzy is dog and human friendly. No cats or critters for his little hunk. Ozzy does need an owner that can continue his training and remind him that he is not in charge. Ozzy is a natural born leader and sometimes forgets that he is not human! He loves all of his people and his foster mom says he is the perfect mix of velcro dog and a happy to lounge and play independently kind of dog but at the end of the day, he wants to be where his family is. Rubble. I know, I know- he's so smushable! Rubble is such a giant meatball. He was abandoned by his owner and was found in not the best shape. It's unknown what his past was like but given that his guard is still up, we are guessing it wasn't a great one. Rubble is going to need a patient and understanding family to give him time to decompress and learn that he can trust you. I saw it first hand. His guard was completely down with one of the volunteers that had been working with him and it was true love. He was sitting on her lap and kissing her and was just so obviously happy and content. I don't think he's seen much love in his life but to watch him smile as he snugged up against her was everything. Rubble needs slow intros to people and pups; agains- trust. He is a professional treat catcher, knows sit and will wear a flower crown for snackies. Rubble is in boarding and really needs a new lease on life whether that be in a foster or furever home. A fresh start. A chance to learn to be a dog, to gain confidence and to learn love should be a constant in his life. Goose is in need of a foster or furever home through Diamonds in the Ruff Animal Rescue. This boy is sooooo adoptable. He checks almost all of the boxes but still has room left to learn and grow as he is only 1yo! Goose is the derpiest of the derp in the best way! He is just a big baby. Goose loves to run and play, he's a fan of fetch though he's still figuring out coordination šŸ¤£ Goose is dog and kid friendly. Actually, he seems to just love everyone. He knows sit and paw and aims to please. He is treat motivated which will help with his training. Goose is the ultimate family dog. He just needs dedicated, loving, fun people to give him the best home possible. I have no doubt he will make you smile 24/7!
