There are some sessions that just feel like catching up with people you love… this was one of those 🤍

This beautiful mama is the heart behind Makaela Thomas Photography — she’s wildly talented, creative, and the kind of person who pours so much into the people around her. Getting her in front of my camera is always such an honor!

And the way her husband looks at her?? 🥹 like she hung the moon and placed every star on purpose. The kind of love you don’t have to direct… it just shows up on its own.

And their sweet baby girl…she’s the sweetest thing! And she will have you thinking dangerous thoughts on the way home like “one more kid wouldn’t hurt” 😂

Sessions like this remind me why I love what I do so much. It’s never just photos—it’s people, connection, and little moments you wish you could bottle up and keep forever ✨

Senior sessions have my whole heart.

There’s just something about this season… it’s fleeting, it’s exciting, it’s a little bittersweet. One foot still here, the other already stepping into what’s next.

And I don’t want them to just look at their photos and think, “that’s pretty.”
I want them to feel it.
To see themselves exactly as they are right now… young, free, becoming.

Because this version of them deserves to be remembered.

Madelyn’s session was a few weeks back, and it’s one I keep coming back to. She didn’t try too hard… she just showed up as herself, and it was enough to carry the entire session.
