People often ask me what my favorite part of this job is.

And it's not the shot itself — it's the moment right before the shot. When someone who walked in nervous, closed off body language saying 'I really hate having my photo taken'... walks out saying 'this was awesome, you made this so fun, I can't wait to see the photos!"

That shift. That's everything to me.

Holding space for women to be fully and unapologetically seen, no judgement just acceptance, and step into their power— I feel like it's truly my purpose and I will never take that for granted.

I'd say over the last 4 years or so I've really been slowing down.

We're all moving so fast — faster content, faster edits, faster everything. Just use AI, skip the process, crank out work!

And I get it. The algorithm rewards volume (but do we actually care?!). The business case for slowing down is hard to make.

But when I pick up my film cameras camera and I only have 15 frames on a roll — it's immediate presecse. I linger longer. I'm looking around at everything. I'm not spray-and-praying (nor do I promote this either).

What's happening is in the flowing down is that I'm actually seeing, being present, being mindful from my feet on the path to the expansion of my breath.

But I digress. The images that come back... they are always cut from a different cloth. You can feel the intention in them, the care of seeing the ordinary and capturing the beauty.

I think there's a version of this for all of us. The thing you do slower that you do better. What's yours? I'd love to hear what you do to slow down and take care.

One thing that has changed my life… Accepting what you can’t control.

It’s raining? It’s raining.
It’s cold? It’s cold.

Great. Now stop complaining about it.

The moment you stop resisting and both accept it and get curious instead —

What does it actually feel like to walk in the rain?
How do the raindrops feel on my head? How does it feel and sound like to walk in puddles?

That shift — from resistance to curiosity — has been a huge piece in healing and also living in the present moment. It gives you so much back and eases our human suffering.

I’m all about finding the path of least resistance. We all have to do things we don’t want to do or get into situations that aren’t ideal (like maybe getting stuck in the rain as a soft example). But it’s how we react and be in the moment that really matters

Happy 11th birthday to best pal Ranger!! To say that I absolutely adore this cute being is an understatement. I am obsessed with this dude- the sweetest thing I have ever known! He’s taught me so many things and has probably ruined any other dog I will ever have- he is perfect in his own imperfect way. Sometimes I get a BIG idea and then I wonder why it took me this darn long to hammer and hash it out.

One of the most common things I hear is that people love my work but they can't afford to invest with me, and that literally breaks my heart. I get it, I really do. You need fresh content, but an 8-hour shoot day isn't something you can swing just yet. You just want to show up, be yourself, and have a library of beautiful assets ready to go without that "big shoot" pricetag.

I’ve been trying to figure out a way to make high-end photography actually attainable for the people I love working with most... and I think I finally cracked the code (Is this new?Definitely not ha!)

Enter: The Content Containers.

These are my new short and sweet retainer packages. They are still a total investment—because you’re getting high-end lifestyle photos, b-roll video content, and actual brand strategy—but they’re designed to be a sustainable, consistent loop.
