If your vision lives in the wild, we’ll meet you there. Owl's iris Photography offers Professional Photography for Weddings, Engagements, Infrant & Baby Portraits, and any other life moment worth capturing. Barbara Hauzinger is the owner and main photographer of Owl's Iris. She says: "Photography has translated the way I look at life; it enabled me to slow down, to take in the moment, to recognize

the beauty in the small things. To be able to offer these moments, these details, this humble way of seeing, is a true gift in itself. A couple's wedding day is one of the biggest moments of their lives, and if I am able to be a part of something truly magical, then I feel so lucky." We hope we can be there for you for all of life's greatest moments!

Ranger is my most favorite being. I adore him. And being a dog ma has been both so rewarding and insanely challenging (I hate to admit this, but I really wasn’t sure if he was going to make it through his PLE diagnosis.)

He is literally the best thing ever and has taught me so much. I love love love taking care of him and am just taking in all his love.

1. Be present. Ranger is always living in each moment and he reminds me to do the same. I love how he is wherever he is and doesn’t think about the future.

2. Be joyful. All a dog is is a big fluff pile of love. He is so joyful, so happy, just to be here doing whatever it is we are doing (relates to being present!)

3. No matter what you go through in life, we choose how to react. I won’t go into all the details, but after Ranger’s PLE diagnosis, tons of things went wrong. We ended up in Boston at Angell Medical (amazing staff) while Ranger underwent surgery to amputate a toe and remove some abnormal growths (causes unknown). We ended up having complications from the surgery and had tons of aftercare and daily vet visits for over a month. This poor dude wore a come for MONTHS. But my point is he still the most joyful, amazing, playful being without a toe and with the biggest heart. What he went through was bananas and traumatic and here he is, seemingly unfazed.

He reminds me everyday to chose joy, stay present, and (of course) get outside as much as possible.

What’s something your pet has taught you?

There’s a difference between escaping somewhere and returning to it. Escaping means you’re running from something while returning means you never really left.

Nature isn’t a vacation for me. It’s a baseline. It’s the place. I think the clearest move the slowest notice the most, and remember what actually matters.

Wherever I go, I’m just finding my way back home.

I remember being on my first multi da backpacking trip in the white mountains in New Hampshire and thinking – absolutely cold, unprepared, hungry and very tired – I want my whole life to feel like this // okay, so maybe not cold and tired but built on the mountains, moving and being outside.

Not just the weekends and not the vacations, but ALL of it.

So I started to make decisions that pointed in that direction, slowly imperfectly and building on each other. The leap into entrepreneurship was a big part of creating the lifestyle that I wanted to live. To have the freedom to honor my soulfood and be outside as much as possible.

The work I do, the way I move through the world, and the things I care about – it all traces back to a feeling I first found outside in nature in the wild.

Still building it and still chasing it and so excited to learn and grow and continue my relationship with mother earth.

ICYMI — I am so excited to announce that I've partnered with to bring my first-ever Wellness Branding Mini Sessions to life, and honestly, it feels like the most natural fit. This is something I've wanted to do for a long time, and doing it here just made sense.

These sessions are for the humans doing the quiet, deep, meaningful work. The yogis, healers, herbalists, tarot readers, breathwork guides, massage therapists, acupuncturists, Reiki practitioners — if you're pouring yourself into this work and your photos don't reflect that yet (or you just don't have any), this is for you.

You spend so much time holding space for others. Let someone hold it for you for a change. I would be so honored to be that person.
Here's what you get:

20 minutes together
10 beautifully edited images shot in a calm, grounding, light-filled studio made for this kind of work
Access to the Wellness Branding Session Planning Guide so you walk in feeling totally prepared

Members of The Sanctuary for Healing and Liberation receive 5 bonus images added to their package!

Spots are limited and signups are live — grab yours here or use the link in bio:
