Warning ⚠️ Long post ahead!

Weddings aren’t always just pretty pictures and smooth sailing. Sometimes things run behind schedule, guests can’t find the venue, the dress takes too long to button, the groomsmen don’t know where to put their flowers, the bride isn’t sure how to put her veil on...it’s inevitable.

Find yourself a photographer who will SHOW UP FOR YOU in all the ways. Someone who will help you rock the schedule no matter how off track it gets, interact with guests, give the guys a quick flower pinning tutorial, zip that dress, and keep your hair/makeup/veil in check all day long. I gotchu girl. 👰🏻

This job is more than hitting a button. It’s building relationships. If you read though my wedding contract, you won’t find anything about creating timelines, cracking jokes so the groomsmen can survive the long, dreaded, 10 minutes of pictures with me 😜, getting the “good angles” for the girls, wiping tears, having a beer and listening to some of the family’s most cherished memories...but it happens at every wedding. The point is...please don’t hire a stranger off the internet. Hire someone who will love you and genuinely loves what they do. A photographer who truly cares about YOUR wedding day, is willing to go the extra mile and become friends with you along the way.
