Mr. & Mrs. Engel 🥂!! There are not enough words to describe how beautiful Saturday’s wedding between these two was. I love all my couples, but once in a while I get one that’s incredibly special, one who turn from a new inquiry to lifelong friends. To know Caiti & Tanner is to love them, it’s hard not to. They are two of the most genuine people in this world, the biggest hearts, who would do anything for you. And, they just so happened to find one another 🫶🏻. A fun, easy, soft, & gentle love… with a dash of sarcasm, cocktails, vintage cars & designer clothes, they’re my kind of people 😂.
Im so glad she found him, and he found her.
A day full of so many familiar faces, it’s easy to celebrate these two. There’s no better couple to deserve a happily ever after, congrats you two 🤍🤍.

✨{The Spain Family}✨
Life is so funny sometimes, & entirely full circle. I have the best history with this funny family 🫶🏻. I first met Chelsea in 2005, 6th Grade at Southwest Middle School. Friends from there on - ironically, we had Math together all 4 years of high school & I promise you wouldn’t have passed without her. A couple years after graduation, she married Kyle & it was the 2nd wedding I’d ever photographed! We were all so young! ✨
Fast forward to 2024, Chelsea & Kyle came back into my life, as I photographed her sister Ashleigh’s wedding 🤍. As fate would have it, a few months later she would start working in Dermatology alongside my wife Megan. The two became thick as thieves, and my old friend from 6th grade now works alongside Megan every day. Life is so funny. We’ve loved hanging out with the Spain’s, going through this parenthood circus together & surrounding ourselves with genuine people. I usually joke with Chelsea about her “litter of kids” 😂. I love hearing their stories about Connor’s adventures & the twins Blake & Kennedy’s dynamics together! I’ve found myself lately constantly reminded by my connections in business throughout history & friendship. 🥂Thanks friends! Here’s to another 20 years!!

✨{Abigail + Preston}✨
I love a love story close to home - literally 🏡. When we moved into our new house last Fall, we were welcomed by our new neighbors Rob & Michelle next door. We felt right at home instantly, & most days Bev will say, “That’s not Ra & Shell’s house, that’s Sweetie’s House”, referring to their happy Yellow Lab named Sweetie. Clearly Bev runs our house & apparently Sweetie does next door.
One day Rob called & said “I hear you’re a photographer”, & the rest is history. I was quickly introduced to Rob & Michelle’s daughter Abigail, a bride planning her big day with her love Preston. An instant friendship & connection with these two we hit it off right away, I only wish we’d met sooner! Abigail & Preston live out of state but we’ve worked closely planning their big day, which is soon approaching! They have a fun, easy, gentle & effortless love. My kind of people, their day is going to be a breeze 🫶🏻! Congrats neighbors!! Excited for the big day!!

✨{Erin + Dustin}✨
You know them, you love them, The Krueger’s. Furnishing Rapid City’s Homes & Families for decades, the Krueger’s are the kindest people you’ll meet. I met Dusty & Erin a few years ago now, and it’s always a laugh with them. Erin was a bridesmaid in a wedding when we first met, & Dustin’s family is from the same small town east river as my Dad. Today, our daughters spend afternoons at daycare together, running into one another at pickup or drop off. 🏡 You may recognize these two from their iconic commercials, Dusty is usually in an incredible costume depending on the season 😂. The Faces & Family behind 5th & Main Furniture by Freed’s, Ashley Furniture & Carpet Garage, they’ve been a staple in our community for many years. Patton, Party of Four!! Stopped over to my friends Krista & Tommy’s house to meet their newest addition, Miss Campbell Patton! The sweetest girl, with the proudest big brother Colby!! So happy for this little fam! 🤍.


P.S. First photoshoot with Campbell and she’s right on track to being like Colby, who took two years before he was a fan of photos 😂🫶🏻.

✨Class of 2027, Families, Headshots + More!✨
Unlike our calendar year, January to December, in my mind the year is June to May, from one Senior Class beginning to the next! But then I stop & realize “Wow, half 2026 is almost done!”. This means, June - November is peak shooting time. Tons of Seniors, Family Photos & Wedding Weekends!!
Dates are filling fast & although it may seem far off, the end of the year & our nice weather will be gone before we know it! I have Senior Session & Family Session openings! Message or email as soon as you can!! As always, I push my athletes to get their Senior Photos done before August/September practices start!! 🎓

A Happy Birthday AND Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful wife .winter 🤍. To know Megan is to love her. You can usually find her in heels wherever she goes. She loves Pilates, shopping, flowers & friends. Fiercely loyal, she’ll always have your back. The biggest heart, she’s a blessing to all of her patients as a nurse. She loves a cocktail 🍹, sunshine, a patio & a laugh. A girls girl, she’s an incredible mother to our Bev, & is Bev’s favorite snuggle partner. I love every chapter of this life with you, Happy Birthday Honey 🫶🏻.

Stopped at the Christianson House the other day to see my friends Chris & Ashley’s new addition! Their wedding was one of my all time favorites - you might remember Ashley’s Pink Wedding Dress 💕🌸 - and I love seeing them in this new chapter!! The sweetest & best baby model, it was a dream newborn session. The best is yet to come!! Congrats friends!!
