I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! I had the chance of photographing the beautiful Asher this weekend. Asher is a Hungarian Mudi. They are a herding breed, (rare in the US), that are active, athletic, and have the most fun coats! They remind me of an Australian Cattle Dog with a perm...haha...Some Hungarian Mudi's have tight curly coats and some have looser curls. They also come in a variety of colors. Asher and his mama were so much fun to work with. More sneak peeks to come of him.

Meet Ines!

Ines is available for adoption through Hands, Hearts and Paws. She was born 11/29/2025. She looks MUCH bigger in these pictures than she really is. She is a petite little thing barely coming up to my knees. She will be on the smaller/medium size. She is a ball of fun and LOVES bubbles. Here is what her foster family has to say about her:

Ines is an (almost) 6 month old mixed-breed firecracker who treats life like one big obstacle course, and honestly, she's winning. She's bursting with energy, enthusiasm and the kind of optimism only a puppy who has never paid taxes can have. If you have bubbles for her, she's on cloud nine. No bubbles? Then get out the hose. She also loves water. Potty training is still a work in progress, but she approaches it with the confidence of someone who believes every attempt deserves a gold metal. She's fantastic with dogs and kids, basically anyone who doesn't mind being joyfully body-checked by a tiny fluff missile. When it comes to cats, she loves them, however they seem to be a little more relunctant of her, (but when you have a first class sprinter coming in hot, it's expected). Personal space is still a foreign concept to her but she's trying hard, even if "trying" currently means flopping directly onto your lap or getting a lick of your face. Because she's such an adventurous little explorer, she'll need a securely fenced yard to keep her safe during her zoomie marathons. She's goofy, affectionate and always ready to turn an ordinary moment into a full-blown celebration. If you're looking for a high-spirited sidekick who brings laughter, chaos and endless love then Ines is ready to sprint into your life!

How adorable is Tulip's little brother, Tartan?! Even though he would rather be sniffing the ground, exploring and no where near the camera, he was a brave boy and did great for his session. He looks so big in his pictures despite being only like 6 or 7 pounds.

This past weekend I had the honor of photographing sweet Tulip, (and her brother, Tartan). When Tulip's mom contacted me, letting me know that she wasn't doing well, my heart broke. I just knew I had to get her in soon. I said a lot of prayers that the weather would hold out, (as we know how finicky it can be in February), and God answered my prayers.
Even though Tulip is technically not a "repeat client", she feels like it because I know her well...in a way. Tulip and her mom have always shown up for our Holiday Pawtraits every year. This time I got to chance to photograph her in an outdoor setting and Tulip and her beautiful golden locks did not disappoint. Also, I should mention that I'm so jealous of those locks!

Some of you may remember when I fostered this handsome boy 9 years ago. Orton may be a little older now, but he still has his quirky personality. I'm so grateful his dad has kept in touch with me all of these years I'm also glad he braved the cold a few weekends ago for a quick photo session.
