🙌🏻 ☀️ 🌼 Despite me not posting almost at all this year, I’m still here!

This year started off pretty challenging and now that everything has died down, I’m hoping to begin shooting sessions again more regularly.

Amanda and her family had their photos done in May and I wanted to share my favs again so everyone can see how adorable they turned out.

Survived the first week of summer with 10 kids at home with me. Not sure HOW I survived, but I did.

I have no idea why my video has been posted as a reel, but I did not repost it. The last thing I posted on my page was in December. Koen had his surgery and is recovery well.

I apologize for the confusion, my page is being weird and I’m trying to figure out how to delete the recent post but it seems to be attached to the original.

This isn’t my normal content. It has nothing to do with photography. But it does impact my baby boy and I figured since my photography page is monetized, I would post it here and give it a shot ❤️

My son Koen has a tethered spinal cord and needs to have surgery to fix it as it's causing not only pain but other neurological delays for him.

Unfortunately his insurance through Medicaid was denied beyond him being 12 months old, and this surgery is most commonly done between 14-18 months old. At this time I'm unable to afford the coverage he would need through private insurance and I don't have a full time job (I stay home with him and my other children with photography on the side) My fiance is a business owner and doesn't have an insurance policy that can cover him either.

The self pay cost for this surgery is approx $46,000. The hospital will take 20% off for self pay, and I must come up with 40-50% upfront to even schedule it.

Our appointment with our neurosurgeon and our geneticist is on January 22, 2026. My son will be 16 months old. That is when we were originally going to schedule the surgery.

I am doing my best to advocate for my son and also be as proactive as possible so he does not have to live with this condition longer than necessary- which would cause more long term side effects.

Today alone I worked on 3,354 images, and in the last 4 days I worked on 7,999 images.

Here’s a happy photo of my son and if everyone could please say a prayer for my back 😂

Editing for 6+ hours today did me in! I hope everyone has an amazing holiday month 🎁🌲⛄️
