Had the privilege of meeting a sweet new family recently! Little "R" was too cute and kept me and his momma running! I suppose at one year old there's lots of important things that need to be done and seen! Smiling ear to ear while editing this gallery!

Always look forward to this session each year because these kiddos are so wildly fun! They rarely sit still for long but we have tons of fun trying 😂 If you ask what thrills me most during family sessions it's not the perfectly poised, perfectly mannered children (though those are great too!), it's the wild, free spirited ones that keep me on my toes and have a fun curiosity and zest for life! They always make for the best candids and leaves my heart full by the end of the day! Love this family so much!

Congratulations Maddux! It's almost graduation time! It's always a little surreal for me to see kids that I knew when they were about knee high, all of a sudden be standing full grown in front of my camera!! But I love seeing what awesome young adults they become and it's an honor to be even a small part of this milestone for them!

Happy Spring everyone!
It's been a while!
I promise I'm still shooting and taking sessions but have been on a healing journey since December that I haven't posted about yet and haven't been real active here online as of late. Early December I had an ice-skating accident while on a field trip with my kiddos and ended up breaking my tibia, fibula, and the top of my ankle! 🥴 The ER doc called it a "pretty gnarly" break lol, and after an intramedullary surgery where they put in a titanium rod through my knee, I'm finally walking around with a new leg full of hardware!
That all said, yes, I am currently taking sessions, albeit I may not bounce around as quickly as I used to and my love of chasing littles might be reduced to a slow jog for a while...😂 But God willing I'll be back in tip top shape by the end of the year! And a little slow down won't stop me from creating some beautiful memories for you.

I had the privilege of capturing a longtime friend's nuptials this month! Wolfgang and his beautiful bride, Lara, tied the knot at of A Lifetime in Kenosha, WI. The weather was perfect which was fitting for such a perfectly matched couple! Many happy years to you both!

And I'm so glad I also get to call these beautiful people, the Salinas fam, my family too! Had a great time spending the evening wrangling these awesome kiddos and capturing the great love they all have for each other. 🩷❤️
