One of the best bits of this profession is getting to see the same wonderful families throughout the years grow and change and blossom. Getting to see these two again was a joy, and I am so excited for their newest addition.
It has been such a whirlwind of a spring season. I don't know if I have ever had to reschedule so many sessions as I have this year. The rainy weather had us all over my calendar, and the moisture also brought out a double share of those awful chiggers.
Excited to be getting into summer finally and already looking ahead to fall...

It is truly never "too late" to capture your precious babe. This little one was 2 months old when I visited these new parents to capture the 'newborn phase.'
Babies grow and change so quickly in that first year, I never want to miss the opportunity to capture their preciousness in every stage of babyhood. Some parents like to follow the classic milestone schedule of Newborn, 3m, 6m, 9m, Birthday- but I also love to suggest a looser schedule that follows baby's development instead of age- Newborn, Tummy Time, Sitter, Stander/Birthday. Or you can be over the top camera crazy like me and just do ALL THE THINGS>

Next up for my own baby will be Fairy Flower Portraits and then the iconic Sink Bath Snaps!!
