The Hayward family was SO much fun! 🤎

The jokes were flying, the smiles were shining, and we genuinely had such a good time capturing these photos together. There’s something about a family who is willing to laugh, play, and just enjoy being together that makes my job so easy.

And can we talk about those fall colors?! 🍂 Just look at them popping!

It’s been a minute since I’ve seen this family, and they’ve added a new handsome little guy to the crew since I last saw them!

We met up at sunset, and the light absolutely did not disappoint. It may have been a smidge warmer than necessary (almost 80° in October is honestly uncalled for 😂), but this crew completely rocked their session.

And believe it or not, I think the baby was the happiest one of the whole bunch! He was such a smiley little guy and made my job way too easy.

There’s something so special about getting to photograph a family again as they grow and change. From the people I photographed before to the newest little additions, getting to document those seasons is one of my favorite parts of this job. ✨

The Meyer family was so much fun to photograph! 🤍

The kids came with a few ideas of their own, and we ran with them. There was plenty of playing, moving, laughing, and just letting them be themselves while I captured all the little moments in between.

These are my favorite kinds of sessions. The ones that don’t feel overly posed or structured, where everyone can relax, have fun, and just go with the flow. I’ll still make sure we get the classic family photos, but I also want your gallery to feel like your family.

If your kids aren’t the type to sit still and smile on command, honestly, that’s perfect. Come ready to play, and I’ll take care of the rest. ✨

Getting messages like this is such a good reminder that I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be, doing what I’m meant to do.

This is exactly what I want my clients to experience. Photos they genuinely love, a gallery back to them quickly, and a session that feels easy and enjoyable from start to finish.

I put a lot of care into both the experience and the final gallery, so hearing that it shows means more than you know 🥹

The Lachapelle family was such a joy to photograph 🤍

And when I say the weather was perfect, I mean perfect. The kind of evening that makes you want to stay outside just a little longer.

But honestly, the best part was how easy this family was to photograph. They were relaxed, completely go-with-the-flow, and genuinely having a good time together. No stiff posing, no worrying about getting every little thing “right”... just a family enjoying their time together.

That’s exactly what I want my sessions to feel like. I’ll give you direction when you need it, but I also want space for the little moments, the laughs, the movement, and the personalities that make your family yours.

The result? Photos that feel like you, not like you were just told where to stand.

Some sessions feel a little extra special, and this was definitely one of them!

The Grimes family was referred to me by another one of my wonderful clients, and I’m so glad our paths crossed before they move away from the area.

They wanted some photos to take with them and hang on the walls of their new home, and the weather decided to show up for them in the best way. We had the most beautiful evening and captured some sweet memories for this next chapter.
