Just to be clear.
We never have and never will hire an associate photographer.
If you’re reading this and thinking, “wait… what’s an associate photographer?” Well I’m glad you asked.
Here’s the deal: an associate photographer is when a client books a photographer for their wedding and that photographer doesn’t actually show up.
Instead, they hire someone else to take their place on your big day. Yes, that means the person you thought you were hiring never actually shows up.
We get it. Because sometimes emergencies happen, schedules conflict, or it’s just easier to pass off a wedding to someone else.
But here’s our stance: your wedding day deserves the people you hired, period.
When you book us, it’s always us. Period. From the first consult to the final frame. No substitutes, no surprises, no cutting corners. We believe in showing up, being reliable, and capturing your story exactly as it unfolds.
That’s why we only book one wedding per weekend. No back-to-back days, no spreading ourselves thin, no excuses.
Your day gets our full attention, our best energy, and the people you actually hired.
So here’s a little reality check for photographers out there: it’s not about cutting costs or juggling multiple weddings. It’s about honoring the trust your couples put in you and delivering the product they paid for.
The couples notice and they appreciate it more than you might think.
