I just had to hug this matriarch when the session was done. I love when I connect with clients in this way. It becomes a friendship, not a business relationship. And it began as a phone call. This is my preferred method of initial contact. In the era of untrust with AI & scammers, a phone call can ease fears, answer questions & help get to know each other a little before we meet in person.
It was a special time for this family. I was so honored to be part of it & document it. 🥰
What instills trust for you? If you are hiring a photographer, or any professional for that matter, do you want to schedule yourself with no interaction, use AI to get all the answers, fill out a form & wait for days to get a response or have an immediate person to person interaction with the real human that will be taking care of you & your family?

Just the people who matter most, bare feet in the sand, and the Forgotten Coast doing what it does best.
Small, family-centered beach weddings are my favorite kind to photograph. No big production. Just a couple saying yes surrounded by the people they love, in a place that already means something to them.
This one was exactly that.
