They are all pieces of him🍂🌞 …Their session held during a heavy season of remembering nearly 6 years since grandpa (her dad) went to heaven. I know all too well how you can feel the anniversary of such a deep loss in your bones while you watch the leaves fall, a reminder of time, precious time. With his favorite shirts sewed together to make a memory quilt we made it a centerpiece to the session… it became a cape, a swing, a parachute, a cuddle blanket, a dry place to sit …a safe place to land…. Making each burst of sunshine and joyful smiles a masterpiece of grief and love, living simultaneously💛 A few years ago the quilt became the perfect spot for newborn photos (pictured) for the sweetie born after he passed …. I am so honored I got to document Thom during a legacy session and even more honored to continue his story and legacy by documenting his family. I’ll never get over the trust ✨ Thank you, Xo - Erin
