Yesterday was one of those weddings that reminds you why moments matter so much.

I’ve known the groom’s parents since they were teenagers dating, so being there to photograph their son’s wedding felt a little like watching a beautiful story continue into the next chapter.

After a week of cold rain, mud, and lingering snow, the sun decided to show up and give us the most perfect spring day. The hills were still winter-touched, but the warmth in the air and the joy surrounding these two made it feel like spring had officially arrived.

Congratulations to this sweet couple — your day was beautiful in every way.

There is something incredibly special about photographing a family’s story as it unfolds year after year 🤍

This weekend I met up with this sweet crew for a glowing winter maternity session — golden light, crisp air, and lots of brave smiles in the cold. The sunshine showed up for us, and so did their joy.

I’ve had the honor of photographing their wedding day, their first maternity session, welcoming their beautiful little girl, and now… we wait for baby brother to arrive at the end of this month. Watching families grow like this is one of the greatest gifts of what I do.

Their little girl is already so proud of her soon-to-be role as big sister, and the love between these two as they prepare to welcome their son is just as strong and steady as it was on their wedding day.

Thank you for trusting me, again and again, with your milestones. It means more than you know. I cannot wait to meet this baby boy and continue telling your story. ✨

I’ve been a little quieter here lately, and I wanted to share why. Photography is still very much part of who I am—I’m still here, still taking photos, still holding space for the moments that matter. After 18 years, this work remains close to my heart.

I’m not actively chasing new work in the way I once did. Instead, I’m letting this season be guided by the ones who have stayed with me all these years, and by the new faces who find their way to me when the timing feels right. Those connections feel meaningful, intentional, and exactly as they’re meant to be.

Alongside photography, my DIY craft studio has become another creative outlet—one that balances my creativity in a different way and allows me to help others discover their own. It’s been a gift to create, teach, and encourage in a new space while still honoring the love I have for photography.

This season feels slower, more intentional, and deeply aligned. I’m grateful for the trust, the loyalty, and the stories I continue to be invited into. Thank you for being here—whether you’ve been with me for years or you’re just finding me now.

I’ve been reflecting on this year, and my heart feels incredibly full.

To every family who trusted me with your moments…
to the couples who invited me into your love stories…
to the seniors stepping into a new chapter…
to the generations gathered together, the brand-new babies, the milestones big and small—thank you.

A few years ago, I mentioned that I was stepping back, maybe even retiring. And yet, here you are. You stayed. You kept coming. And so many new faces found their way to me, too. Because of you, I never fully walked away—and I’m deeply grateful for that.

For those of you who have returned year after year, season after season—thank you for the loyalty, the trust, and the friendships that have grown along the way. For those who are newer to my lens—thank you for choosing me and allowing me into your lives.

Photography has always been more than pictures to me. It’s about connection, legacy, laughter, love, and preserving moments that pass far too quickly. You’ve reminded me why I started and why I continue.

Thank you for allowing me to do what I love for so many years. It has been an honor—truly.
