Just wrapping up my fall portrait sessions, and this particular portrait is one of my favorites. Family portraits, in particular, NEED to be printed and displayed in your home. Interesting is that my most satisfied clients have been the ones who have gotten their portraits printed, as opposed to just asking for digital files. I'm in the business of helping people celebrate their families, and I love it. ❤️❤️

Congrats to Crossroads Recovery Community, The Family Doc, and Medworks Urgent Care for their Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening Ceremony yesterday, presented by the Blue Water Area Chamber of Commerce! It was fun to pop by and snap a few quick cell photos. So glad to have them in our community!

All of a sudden it feels like fall, wow. Going through my past autumn portraits, I'm reminded of how much I love this season. I'm *considering* picking a day and location in October to offer super quick fall sessions for families. Would you be interested?

While scrambling to get ready for a portrait session this morning, I couldn't resist snapping a quick cell photo of my pile of equipment. It told such a simple, yet true story.

Thrown somewhat haphazardly next to the "Blessed" sign in the kitchen window, it reminded me to take a moment and be thankful.

Every photo session. Every client. Every smile shared. I'm blessed and thankful to do what I do.

Looking forward to being one of the speakers at tomorrow's National Association of Career Women - Port Huron meeting! I appreciate the opportunity to step from behind the camera and share a bit about my journey.

We are STOKED to have our very own Chamira of Chamira Studios come from behind the camera and share her story on Wednesday!🥳

Enjoy this sneak peak of her speech: "I'll readily admit it: I'm an art nerd and photographer with an obsession for creativity and productivity. My passions include professional photography, art, and podcasting. I am constantly inspired by God’s creation all around me in nature and am constantly learning and growing on my creative journey. From an early age, I knew that creativity would play a large role in my life. From studying at the University of Michigan School of Art & Design to getting thrown into the book publishing industry, to stumbling into the motorcycle magazine industry, to finally venturing out on my own, my creative journey has been nothing short of thrilling. And I'm still learning!"🎨

Great times at the 88th Annual Blue Water Chamber Golf Classic! I had a blast covering this fantastic event, put on by the Blue Water Area Chamber of Commerce at Marysville Golf Course on June 22nd. Presenting a handful of my fav photos from the day.

Shout out to the amazing Michelle Kinna for offering to snap a quick photo of me on the job at the 88th Annual Blue Water Chamber Classic this past Monday. I was SO grateful for her help during this fantastic event. Not only did she help me stay organized in getting photos of all of the scattered golf teams, but she also did an amazing job driving us around the course. Fun times on the golf cart! Finished photos from the event coming soon.

I do have a quick photo of her in action. In hindsight though, we totally should've gotten a photo together. 🥰
