Can’t stop, won’t stop with these 2 😍

This session was 11 months ago, and these two amazing people got married last month. What a JOY!

I’ve been behind in posting my sessions- as always! But now maybe with more reason 😆 In January, I was given an opportunity to stretch my education muscles again. For those who don’t know, I taught middle school and high school for 4 years. Thanks to my awesome husband, I was able to stay home with my 4 babies for the last 9 years.

This winter, I was offered a position at our kids’ school, and God paved the way for me to return to education- but in the most special way- to see my big kids throughout the day. It’s been the absolute best for our family, and it also has decreased the time I have to post.

Long story short- am I still doing photography? OH YES! Am I taking on less sessions to accommodate for the new season we are in? Also yes ☺️ So if you have a photography need, please message me! And promise not to judge my social media posts or lack thereof!

Book the second photographer, part 2. A wedding day is full of many moments happening in parallel that one person could not possibly capture alone. The bride and groom only see a glimpse of the day unfolding that they poured so much time, emotion, and money into. Some of my favorite feedback is “Thank you for being so thorough. On the morning of a special celebration, a button is lost off of a tiny linen shirt. The first solution comes to mind in the way of a cuff link from a beloved uncle who was taken from this world too soon. When we pause, we can see how light shines through the shadows. We can see the fingerprints of a living and loving God. A creator who is also a comforter, holding us together when we’ve seemed to come apart. ♥️

And while you’re at it, also book the videographer. You guys, the media team is more important than the food or the dessert or the centerpieces- documented moments will last and tell the story with details a bride and groom would never even know were happening ✨
