Round two from the Flag Day celebration and drone show at Laishley Park!

I am still working my way through all the photos, and trust me, there are plenty more to come. I still have the award presentation photos to go through, along with a bunch more drone show images that I haven't even touched yet.

The more I dig through these files, the more I'm liking what I'm seeing from the new camera. Every time I sit down at the computer, I seem to find another shot that makes me smile.

For now, enjoy this next batch from a great evening in Punta Gorda. More drone photos are on deck, the award photos are still coming, and I have a feeling this photo dump train isn't slowing down anytime soon.

With yesterday being Flag Day, I will say this, and I'll always say this... I love my country. It's the government I don't trust. 😄

Anyways, our local American Legion here in Punta Gorda, along with several local businesses, put on a fantastic Flag Day celebration at Laishley Park. The evening was capped off with a drone show that lit up the sky.

One thing I love about our little town is the support people show for events like this. It was great to see so many folks come out and celebrate.

Now, I was originally not going to take my camera. However, most of you know me well enough to know that wasn't going to happen... especially with a brand-new camera sitting in the house. So here we are. New camera, first real outing with it, first time shooting a drone show, and I have to say I'm pretty happy with the results so far.

The drone show didn't leave much time to play with settings, which I knew going in. Drone batteries only last so long, and once the show starts, it's game on. No do-overs.

So enjoy these photos. There will be plenty more to come. Consider this just the tip of the barrel.
