🚨I NEED YOUR HELP!🚨

Okay so really, I just need your input. Making all these decisions on my own is hard.

I get it, summer is here and it’s a hot one! I’m thinking about possibly opening up studio minis in late August if there’s enough interest. These can be families, maternity, senior, milestones.

I’m currently working on mapping out my fall calendar, and it’s tight 🫢 Sept-Nov only have three full sessions each and I already have a handful of clients on my waitlist for when those dates drop in mid-July.

In case you missed it, Friday Nov 27th will be CHRISTMAS MINIS in the Greenhouse! 🎄 when do we want those to launch?

Waiting for baby boy on Boca Grande 🤍

There’s something so exciting about this season. You’re counting down the days until you finally meet your baby, wondering what he’ll look like and what life will be like once he’s here.

At the same time, it’s the end of an era. These are the last few weeks of it being just the two of you before everything changes in the best way.

This in between season is fleeting, beautiful, and full of so much love. Watching so many of my sweet clients experience it this summer takes me right back to the summer of waiting on my own baby boy.

Y’all voted to see the garden party inspired wedding and I don’t blame you one bit! It’ll be living rent free in my mind for a whiiile. The pops of blue perfectly complemented the waterfront, and the darling garden umbrellas were both aesthetic and cooling for a June wedding in Florida. Seriously an incredible day for such a sweet couple!

World Ocean Day hits a little different when the Gulf is part of your everyday life.

I’ve watched it mirror sunrises, cradle storms, feed families, and paint every sunset in colors no camera can fully capture. The ocean isn’t just a backdrop here, it’s a way of life. I’m so thankful that I get to watch people experience the beauty of it with fresh new eyes, and renew my own appreciation for its beauty.

Today, and every day, I’m grateful for these waters that shape our shores and our stories. May we protect them, respect them, and leave them better than we found them.

After five years of photographing families and couples across Southwest Florida, I’m finally sharing some of my favorite session locations.

The truth is, while I absolutely have a handful of tried-and-true spots that photograph beautifully every time, my favorite location is rarely the one on a list.

My favorite sessions start with hearing about your family, your story, and the places that mean something to you.

Yes, I’ll come out to your family property.
Yes, we can meet at your favorite beach.
Yes, we can do engagement photos where you had your first date.
Yes, I’ll come to your home.
Yes, we can snap some pictures in front of the church you dreamed about getting married in as a little girl (like Sam in these images!)

The places that hold your memories are often the places that create the most meaningful photographs.

Of course, if you need recommendations, I have plenty. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that the best photos happen when your session feels like you—not like you’re borrowing someone else’s story.

Because while beautiful light and pretty locations matter, I’m not interested in a rinse-and-repeat experience. Your photos should feel personal, intentional, and unmistakably yours.
