A dear client of mine shared with me about the passing of her beautiful mother on the 7th, and that the photos I took are now memories her family gets to hold onto forever.
As photographers, we sometimes get caught up in editing galleries, chasing sunsets, fixing flyaways, meeting deadlines, and wondering if what we do is enough…

Photos become pieces of people we love.
They freeze laughter, hugs, smiles, and moments that can never be recreated again. They become comfort on the hardest days and reminders of love that never leaves us.
To my sweet client, thank you for trusting me with those memories. My heart is with you and your family during this unimaginable loss. 🤍
And to everyone reading this: take the pictures. Get in the frame. Capture the messy, beautiful, ordinary moments. One day they may become priceless.
