As a bonus to our visit to Custer State Park we passed through Wind Cave National Park which also has its own population of wild life plus the cave to explore . Here are some of the wildlife we saw.

Day four we checked out a favorite mountain memorial . My cover photo shows our nation's first President and the father of our democracy. My photo means no disrespect but it represents how that great man must feel watching what's happening in our country and the world. The story of this mountain is just amazing and a must visit place if you haven't seen it!

Day three we crossed the State of South Dakota headed for Rapid City but first a side trip visit to the SD Bad Lands . Trust me if you had to cross that place on foot or horse back the name Bad is right on!

Day two on our trip out west we visited the town in east South Dakota , Sioux Falls, where the falls and park are right in the middle of town. It looked like a Disney Creation!

My friend Herman and I planed our trip to South Dakota and Wyoming far ahead of Hurricanes and we were in S.Dakota when the first storm hit . I just was too involved in storm confusion to post my photos , just a note it will take months to post them all but I promise I won't dump forty or fifty at a time !
