Meeka Iwen, just 18, left this world far too soon on February 22, 2026.

She was a light — always smiling, always kind. I loved working with her and her family, and it was a privilege to watch her grow up in our community over the years. My heart aches for everyone who knew and loved her.

What an impressive turnout and event!

I appreciate the exceptional opportunities I have living in Texas to meet numerous individuals from diverse backgrounds, nationalities, ages, and skill sets, all united by their commitment to serving humanity.

Today, at the 9/11 Day of Service project in Plano, Texas, members from various community groups, churches, school organizations, and service-oriented organizations came together to build beds for children in need.

Over 100 attendees dedicated 3.5 hours of their time to construct 55 beds, which were stained, branded, and built with love to be delivered in a couple of weeks.

The DFW Sleep in Heavenly Peace organization demonstrated exceptional efficiency and coordination, making them a pleasure to work with. The event was further enhanced by the presence of our talented DJ Mr. Nine playing great music while the participants worked together.

We were definitely blessed with a break from the hot temps and got to enjoy a comfortable 67 degrees and only a slight sprinkle of rain during the outdoor project.

I extend my gratitude to all the remarkable community members who joined us.

What a blessing Jericho Villiage will be to Collin County and all those who reside here. ❤️

I remember the day I learned of their vision and saw the digitally made "village" on paper - NOW what once was a vision is coming to life... the property is amazing!!! https://www.hope4agape.org/jericho-village/

Foundation and framing... today I got to participate in Blessing the villiage. I love this opportunity to share blessings and prayers for those not only working on the construction and dream coming true - but also for all those who will live and find refuge from the world being blessed by the good works of Agape!!

Congratulations to Agape and all their volunteers for the amazing work they are doing on behalf of the Lord!!!

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to photograph a significant event on Sunday evening.

Many congregations and cultures of Christians from the Dallas Metro area joined to celebrate Black History Month at a Saints in Unity Devotional, featuring Mauli Bonner as the keynote speaker.

What an amazing evening with faith filled gospel music, artifacts and collectibles, many uplifting messages, and peach cobbler and visiting for all.

What a pleasure working with so many talented and faith filled Christians in a wonderful evening where hearts were touched, Jesus and his miracles were spoken of, and happiness and joy was felt by all who attended.

I was blessed to be a guest at the 5th year Anniversary Donor & Volunteer Appreciation Gala for Hope Restored Missions. (Which has stole my heart here in Texas, love the work they do, their mission, & the wonderful people associated with HRM!)
