I know I’ve been pretty quiet around here lately… and honestly, life has just been A LOT behind the scenes.
The last few months have looked a little different for our family. My dad got sick, we walked through some really hard days… and we said goodbye to him at the beginning of June. It’s been a season of grief, adjusting to a new normal and trying to soak up the moments that matter most.
Add in summer sports, kids’ schedules, everyday life, and allllll the laundry that comes along with it … and it’s been a bit chaotic to say the least.
One of the biggest things these last few months have reminded me of is just how important the work I get to do truly is. After losing my brother in early 2025 and now my dad, I’ve been reminded in the most heartbreaking way just how important photographs truly are. When the people we love aren’t here anymore, the memories we’ve captured become some of the most precious things we have. The little moments, the smiles, the way someone looked, the way they laughed… those things become priceless — I mean, who would ever want to forget my fluffy spiral perm and even bigger bangs OR my dad’s shorty shorts from 1984 😆
Anyway, thank you for your patience, your kindness and for continuing to support my little business. It truly means more than you know.
