I have debated this for a while and I want everyone else’s input!

During the COVID crisis, I shut down in studio and newborn sessions due to the fact that I was active as a COVID ER nurse and EMS transport team and wanted to protect those precious littles!

Since then, we began slowly remodeling the house and I haven’t booked many in studio sessions.

I have still been very active outside of the studio with weddings, families, seniors, bo***ir, etc.

I can’t decide if I should part with my studio back drops and props or advertise more in studio sessions at this point. I haven’t had the newborn or young children clientele I used to recently and have so many props and drops sitting around unused with an entire large room of my house left basically abandoned.

I want my clientele’s opinions in this.

I will continue ALL other sessions no matter what, but will ONLY be closing down in studio sessions if there’s little interest in small children sessions.

For those of you who don’t know, things have been crazy over the last month. My little man was in an accident and suffered multiple fractures of his skull and pelvis on his bike. He has a traumatic brain injury with two bleeds, but we are beyond lucky and blessed that he is with us and still our Cash man. He still experiences some symptoms off and on and still is only allowed to walk for exercise and activities. He also also cannot lift 10+ lbs. It has definitely been hard to see him go through all of this, but he is beyond amazing and stronger than ever!

I apologize for the delays in editing and responding for bookings. Every day with this little man is spent completing projects, art and crafts, reading books and learning. He is far more clung to my hip than he has ever been, but this momma won’t complain about that!

I have taken some days off work from my full time nursing job as well when he is here to be with him 24/7 on those days and ensure he continues on the path to a full recovery.

Those of you waiting on your final albums, I am hoping to have them completed by the end of next week at the latest. Thank you for all your understanding, love, prayers and support! ❤️

I’ve been pretty quiet on Facebook for a while, but we’re still going strong! I’ve had lots of seniors and more scheduled, as well as families, babies and couples! We’re not currently accepting weddings, but hoping to resume those in 2021, as a second photographer may be joining the team full time!

I do have some more pretty exciting news! River Valley Photography has been published in an international magazine again! I’m so excited to bring you all new and exciting things!

Our Country Girl issue is a fan fave and we can't blame you. Everybody loves a country girl! We've got two great covers to choose from this month. The first is our own DD promo model Stephie Danger.
