Ok... here are the last of the high school spring season banners, and this time it’s my local high school, the PHS Panthers!

I always love working with the athletes from our town. A lot of them I’ve seen come up through the different youth sports organizations over the years, and many I’ve either known for a while or have gotten to know better throughout the school year, especially the three-season athletes.

It’s always fun working with this group. They’re all unique individual characters, and together they help make up the heart of our town. Some will be going on to play at the college level, and some won’t. Some will continue their education in college, some may choose the military, and others may head straight into the workforce. No matter what path they take, I wish them all the best and offer a heartfelt congratulations on their senior year and on completing this chapter of their journey.

I hope you all enjoyed your banners throughout the seasons, including this cool vintage-style one. I’ll be back next year for the next senior class!

Up next a little mix of one regular team with Killingly Softball and another new team from Killingly, the Girls' Lacrosse and Golf! Here are a few of the samples from these lovely ladies.

There was only one girl for golf, but several for lacrosse and we had a good time capturing the photos for these. Apparently kung-fu fighting is back in style as a few girls were doing that for some action shots as you will see in one of the samples.

We had a lot of fun as always and working with these ladies was a breeze. Although most of the times they get up there and are camera shy at first, I help break the ice with cracking some jokes and just in general chatting with them as we go through each player.

I wish the best for all of the girls in whichever path they choose post graduation and of course a big congratulations for making this milestone! I believe both their senior nights are tomorrow night, if not this week regardless, I hope you enjoy and bring it to your opponents.

One of my new customers this season was the Stonington High School baseball team. They only had three seniors, but we definitely had fun creating some great vintage-style banners.

I was also excited to work with their black and gold color scheme. It always makes for a strong look, and these Bears are backing it up with a winning record and a great season on the field.

A few of these seniors will be continuing their baseball careers in college, so keep an eye out for them. Who knows, maybe I photographed a future MLB player. Either way, congratulations to all the boys on your senior year, and good luck with the next step in your journey.

I hope you enjoy the banners as much as I enjoyed making them. Hopefully they are the envy of the school!

Next up are a few examples from the Ellis Tech High School senior baseball athletes!

This was another great group of young men I had the pleasure of working with. One of them was also part of our local high school football team this past fall through the co-op with Ellis and a few other schools.

I really enjoyed working with this blue and gold color scheme. It brought back some memories of my own high school, NPHS. They were also the first group I used my newly designed vintage template with for the spring season. It works well for all sports, though I feel that vintage style always fits baseball and softball especially well.

Tonight is their senior night, so I want to wish them the best of luck and offer a heartfelt congratulations on their senior year. I am sure they will go on to do great things in whatever path they choose.

Go Eagles!

A little behind on some posts as it has been a crazy month working on getting senior banners out for a few schools and teams. Taking some time to post over the next few days a few of the ones that were done.

Without further adieu, here are a few of the 8th grade banners I did for the Saint James School track team. I've had the pleasure to do all of their sports for this year which has been fun working with these kids, and this time my niece was one of them.

Congrats to all of them on their 8th grade year and good luck on whichever path you choose for high school next year. Hopefully, I will get to see more of you and have the opportunity to do your senior year photos.

Time for another round of winter-season senior sports banners. I’m grateful for the continued honor of photographing these seniors each season across all the sports at our local high school.

This group has been nothing but impressive. They’re stepping up to graduation and into the next chapter of life. Some have already committed to where they’re headed, and others are still weighing their options. Either way, I’m proud of them and I’m wishing them the best on whatever road they take.

For this season, I used my custom Fire & Ice banner design for boys and girls basketball, indoor track & field, and winter cheer. Now it’s on to spring, and for many of these seniors, that means a third senior banner this school year.

Another successful shoot for the Killingly High School cheerleading seniors. Once again I had the honor of photographing these seniors, and although they only had two young ladies who were seniors this season, they brought a bunch of s***k and enthusiasm to the shoot. They were a lot of fun to work with, maybe I'll get a chance again in the future to photograph them. In the meantime, good luck ladies on the rest of your senior year and of course for the season with your cheer competitions!

Recently completed my annual session with the Northeastern Shamrocks Hockey team. They are a co-op of several high schools in the Bolton, CT area including Bolton, RHAM, Coventry, Rockville, East Hartford, and Windham Technical School. Here are a few of the photos from that session starting with a couple of the senior banners and then some of the underclassmen portraits used in their advertisement book.

I have the honor of photographing the entire team and not just the seniors. They are a great group of kids, always well mannered and have fun during the session. They are playing a sport they love and I love to take pictures and create some cool stuff for them to remember it by. Hockey also makes for some great senior banners and portraits overall. It may be cold at the hockey rink but once we get going you don't even notice.

Jenn and Marie from the boosters help to get this organized each year and put a lot of work into ensuring a smooth session. Thank you to them for doing a great job and bringing me in as their photographer.
