I’ve been in a state of inspiration in my recent sessions and thinking about what I actually want people to feel when they look back at their photos.

Of course I want them to be pretty. I want the lighting to hit right, the colors to feel good, the gallery to look polished. But more than that, I want you to see yourself in them.

Not the stiff, awkward, “what do I do with my hands?” version.

The real version.

The scrunchy nose laughs. The subtle moment you feel grateful for your life. The way you play with your hair when you’re uncomfy. The tiny in-between moments that do not feel huge while they’re happening, but somehow end up being the ones you miss the most.

That’s what I love about photographing.

Personality. Movement. Connection. The season of life you’re in right now, before it quietly turns into the next one.

And if I can give you a gallery that feels like you, not overly posed or polished into something unrecognizable, that’s the whole point. 🫶🏼
