I want to address the post currently being shared regarding my photography business.
First, I want to acknowledge the frustration surrounding delayed gallery delivery and communication. I understand how important wedding photos are, and I take responsibility for not communicating as consistently as I should have during this process. Over the last few months, I have been balancing a full-time career outside of photography along with personal health challenges, which unfortunately contributed to delays. While those circumstances were very real, I also understand the clientās disappointment and frustration.
However, I do feel it is important to clarify that several statements being made publicly are exaggerated, misleading, or presented without full context. At no point was anyone ācorneredā into payment. Like many photographers and wedding vendors, final balances are required before wedding dates in accordance with booking policies that were agreed upon prior to services being rendered.
Photography is also highly subjective in style and editing preference. The gallery delivered reflects my editing style and the work consistently displayed throughout my portfolio and social media prior to booking. While every client is entitled to their opinion, publicly comparing professional work to āan iPhoneā and encouraging damage to a small business before resolution efforts are complete feels unnecessarily harmful.
I also want to clarify that this matter was taken to social media before I was given a meaningful opportunity to fully resolve concerns privately. I have never refused to provide their memories, and I am actively working on organizing and delivering the remaining images requested.
To my past, current, and future clients ā I appreciate every single person who has trusted me to capture important moments in their lives. Small businesses are run by real people, and while I am not perfect, I have always cared deeply about the work I create and the clients I serve.
I remain committed to handling this situation professionally and respectfully moving forward.
