I got a bunch of these locked and loaded. A lot has changed in 15 years. Some things we had to try to figure out didn’t work for us.

I am sure all photographers have their no-go lists! Bo***ir photographers probably have longer ones just because we also have to have some really strong boundaries. It’s not all fun and games just because you’re in your birthday suit!

On Sundays I have been posting anything but bo***ir. I’ve needed the palette cleanser. Posting can be emotionally draining. The fear of losing our account or having a ban so deep and so long that you consider closing (yes, really. I’m not the only one either) takes its toll. Our clients privacy is paramount. I’m not sharing if I do not have permission. Which means you’ve never seen a model posted here, no workshop content directed by anyone but moi; all open and able clients.
We worked today. Normally Sundays are sacred.
But she was special. So we were happy to do it.

This is what my Sunday usually looks like.
Stopping to admire Bear in the window. A long walk with Opal. A big breakfast. Maybe a little wander around a thrift store. My orchid from PITTSBURGH MAKEUP ARTIST + PHOTOGRAPHER
A lady bug for luck. An out coffee. Flowers on my dress. Flowers on my porch. Flowers on my table. And puzzle with more flowers. 🫣

The perfect combo is a visit to Brow Boss Studio for a lash tint and if you want to be difficult 🫣 only do the tops. Then a trip to Ulta Beauty for The Ordinary lash curl finisher.

I have reached the age where I can no longer keep all of my unsolicited opinions, questionable observations and inside thoughts to myself.

Consider this a small peek behind the curtain at the s**t I think about when I'm not busy photographing women and telling them where to put their _____ (fill in the blank).

Some of it may be useful.
Some of it may p**s you off.

Most of it is probably going to make you think, “Jesus Christ, Steff.”

But, meh.

That's probably why you’re here.

Also, before anyone gets any ideas: the heart is there because we both know how the internet works.
