Open Book Ep. 1 What should you actually look for in a wedding photographer’s portfolio? 
✨ Visual Consistency ✨ 
A photographer with strong technical shooting and editing skills will produce images that feel visually connected across different events, different lighting, and different seasons.

Style is a personal preference but skill is being able to replicate a style consistently. That replication is how you know what your photos are going to look like and that you’re going to love them.

🏳️‍⚧️ Happy Trans Day of Visibility 🏳️‍⚧️

As a transgender person myself, I’m so thankful to have a job where I get to regularly advocate for trans and other LGBTQ+ people who are getting married. We’ve been an afterthought in the wedding world for far too long.

While there’s still a loooooong way to go, the changes I’ve seen in my short six years photographing weddings makes me genuinely hopeful for the future.
