Time flies, and sometimes we get so busy chasing the next beautiful moment that we forget to enjoy the ones right in front of us.
These little pronghorn are growing so fast! They still have that adorable look, but they’re getting bigger every time I see them. I took these photos right from my front porch, and now seeing them in the evenings has become one of my favorite parts of the day.
As a wildlife photographer, I spend so much time planning, driving, waiting, and hoping to capture a special moment. But sometimes, God reminds me that I don’t always have to go far to see His beautiful work.
Sometimes, all I have to do is step outside and pay attention. 🙏✨

We camped on South Pass, where the Roosevelt Fire burned eight years ago. Looking at the blackened trees, I imagined the animals fleeing the flames and wondered what this landscape had looked like before the fire.
That evening, while Conor prepared supper, I grabbed my camera. The last golden light slipped through the dead trees, with the Grand Tetons rising in the distance. ✨
Even in a place marked by destruction, God gave me something beautiful to photograph. A reminder that even when a landscape carries the scars of its past, there is still beauty to be found. ❤️

Two little pronghorn, legs flying, and the most beautiful morning light. 🦌✨
Photographing baby pronghorn when they’re this little is not easy. They’re quick, well-hidden, and their mamas are incredibly protective. I went searching for this moment three different times before I finally got the photos I had been waiting a whole year to capture.
Seeing these babies running toward their mama reminded me how much beauty God places right in front of us when we slow down, stay patient, and pay attention. Sometimes, the moments worth waiting for require us to show up again and again. And when everything finally comes together, it’s a gift. 🤎

🔥 We camped in a forest marked by fire, surrounded by dead trees. But the next morning, I discovered something beautiful!
I almost went back to bed, but I'm so glad I grabbed my camera instead. So many mountain bluebirds were hunting among the burned branches! 🐦
It reminded me that God's creation can surprise us when we slow down and look closer. ❤️
